To begin the process of creating a RUTA, click on "Create" under Inactive Duty Individual Certification

Choose "Equivalent Training" from the drop down menu and then click on Create Application 

Under Workday Utilization Code choose "KA"

Is the member on flying status? No

Has the Commander approved this duty for pay and points? Yes

Will the member perform duty at a location other than their home station? Yes

Number of periods: Choose 2 (A period Is half a drill day. 0800-1200 Is a period and 1200-1600 Is a period) So a two day drill weekend will consist of a total of 4 periods.

I affirm as the member the Information provided Is correct and accurately reflects duty performed: Yes

Original Duty Date 

This Is the first day of the original RSD date. 

You will do period 1 for AM then you will do period 2 for PM.

NEW DUTY DATE

This Is the day you are going to do a RUTA to make up that RSD day.

Again, you will do dates and times for period 1.

Then do the same date for period 2.

Then click Next and on the next page, sign.
