how to submit a ruta request
STEP 1 A RUTA request must be submitted no later than the drill month before the one you want to submit.
EXAMPLE: If you want to submit a RUTA request for March drill, you need to submit the request during February drill.
To submit a RUTA request, you must first go to the 272nd Sharepoint https://usaf.dps.mil/sites/272EIS/SitePages/Home.aspx
STEP 2 Hover over "Personnel" on the top menu and click on RSDs.
STEP 3 Click on "Create New RD"
STEP 4 Scroll to the bottom and click on "Create New RUTA"
STEP 5 Fill out the pop up window titled "New RUTA" (Filling this out on SharePoint takes the place of having to fill out a ANG FORM 105S). As you begin typing your name or email address In the Requestor field, matching names will begin to auto populate In real time as you type. As soon as you see your name, you can click on It.
STEP 6 Scroll down and continue filling out Information In pop up window
FINAL STEP Click Save. Make sure to notify your supervisor that you just submitted a RUTA request.
